Iiki ch.2...
Japan: Iiki no Ki chapter 2 has been recently released. The nice surprise is that the Aria cover is
illustrated by Kaori Yuki showing the hero Sorath. :D Chapter 3 will be out next month, on the 28th September in Aria 11.
France: to those who don't have Guignol 2 yet, an online
preview is
available on Tonkam site. Then we have plenty of time to wait for the volume 3, scheduled on the 27th October,
22 days after the release of the US volume 1.
Iiki no Ki and Guignol
Japan: chapter 1 of Iiki no Ki has been released in late July and chapter 2 is scheduled on August 28, in 2 weeks.
Covers of Guignol Kyuutei Gakudan 5 and of the new edition of Blood Hound have been revealed and the mangas are about to be
released in exactly 5 days.
France: volume 2 of NKG will be released in 4 days. ^__^
The next releases... tempting
Japan: NKG volume 5 has been announced for the 19th August 2010 (ISBN 9784592186656). Second interesting and a tad surprising news,
a new edition of Blood Hound will be out also on 19th August. It's a kanzenban edition, aka "complete", generally with colour
pages. Here it will be B6 sized (to compare, remember the kanzenban edition of Count Cain, which was much bigger, A5 sized). There is no more
information regarding these two books at the moment. By the way, the Betsuhana #8 with some more Blood Hound inside will be released
tomorrow...
France: yay something finally happens in France! In 5 days Guignol 1 will be released and French publisher Tonkam jumped on the
occasion to promote this awaited series. They've published an
online excerpt, added the manga
to their website background, already revealed the release dates and covers of volumes 2 and 3, and the best for the end... a free bookmark
of the series will be available so that we can complete our Yuki sensei bookmarks collection. ^^ It will be included in the free catalog of
the publisher distributed during the convention Japan Expo then later in book stores

Title of her new series
Japan: officially announced by Kodansha on June 8, the title is 異域之鬼, "iiki no ki" which I'd dare romanizing as
"iiki no oni" - the demon of foreign lands - please correct me if I'm wrong. The universe of this series will contain black magic, and
the story is even going to be truly epic according to the publisher! I've updated my page about the series with some cool info, please

Kaori Yuki in a new magazine: ARIA
Japan: it's a not-so-new yet confirmed news: the publisher Kodansha is going to launch a new manga anthology on July 28, called "ARIA", in which will be published, among other shoujo authors... Kaori Yuki herself! (Is she leaving Hakusensha, or?!) The official site of the new magazine has been updated 3 days ago, with the opening of a gallery displaying its future mangakas. And so we find there a new illustration of Yuki sensei. ^__^ In ARIA staff's blog, we learn that the publisher has received no later than today the script of Yuki sensei's upcoming series........ Can't wait to be on July 28 to buy the first issue of ARIA, I say!!
Guignol volume 4
Japan: Guignol Kyuutei Gakudan volume 4 has been released today. The illustration used on the cover page is the title page from chap. 13, featuring Kohaku.
Orchestre Royal de Guignols, and after?
Japan: the last chapter of NKG has just been released in Betsuhana #6 (it's 26th in Japan already). The title page is quite colourful
but I was secretly hoping there would be more characters featured. Rutile's expression is very sweet, quite unusual
from Kaori Yuki I shall add, but I wished she were a bit more careful with the proportions of her character. Second thing,
the author won't publish anything in the Betsuhana #7, however a new chapter of Blood Hound has been announced for
Betsuhana #8! (source).
France: Tonkam unveiled the cover of French "The Royal Doll Orchestra", emphasising nicely the enigmatic Rutile. <3
French AS Deluxe 10
Japan: the Betsuhana #6 with ch.18 of "Orchestre Royal de Guignols" will be released in 7 days. ^^
France: the last volume of "Angel Sanctuary De Luxe" is out since last Wednesday. Now we're
just patiently waiting for Guignol (June 30) and Neji (some day...).
End of Guignol
Japan: this long awaited and dreaded news had to come out - in the next Betsuhana (#6, April 26), we'll read the end of "Orchestre Royal de Guignols". 51 pages have been announced to conclude the series, which will count 18 chapters. As consolation, we can still get ahold of the volume 4 of this same series, to be released on May 19.
Betsuhana 5
Japan: the Betsuhana magazine #5 is out since 4 days, bringing us a new chapter of Guignol: the continuation of "Kyuutei Gin'yuukajin no Ai no Uta" (the love song of the troubadour). No colour page in this chapter either, however we will at least have to wait only one little month before getting the next chapter, in Betsuhana #6 out on April 26. :] Oh and stay tuned, as info about NKG volume 4 should arrive soon!
End of Guignol, last bunkos of Cain
Japan: the covers of the Cain bunkos #5 and #6 have been released, the volumes will be out in 5 days and then this edition will be complete. Regarding Guignol, in this month's Betsuhana we learn that the story is coming to an end soon. Take your tissues out, we (I) will miss Ruchiru... :/
