Yea I lack inspiration, but just check out what I've uploaded for you today ^^: several scans of the new chapter of <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=lk">Ludwig Revolution</a> (the series is now called "Ludwig Gensoukyoku", i.e. Ludwig Fantasia), "La Petite Sirène" (= the little mermaid in French). Editing the double colour title page is taking a lot of time so for now, I've uploaded a pre-version and the final one will come another day. Today I bring you some news and pictures. First, interesting news that my followers already know ^^: Iiki no Ki volume 3 will be released in Japan next month, on Dec 7. Of course the cover is yet unknown. I scanned the latest <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/galleries/iiki/iiki-ch12-titlepage.png" target="_blank">title page</a> of Iiki no Ki - Chap 12. Regarding Blood Hound, I finished my review about the <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=bh#kanzen">French deluxe edition</a> (based on the Japanese kanzenban), with pictures. The French translated atogaki is also available La <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/yuki/atogaki/2010-08_bloodhkanzen_ato_fr.jpg" target="_blank">here</a>. Lastly, thanks to Hisazuki I share here an unusual and cute drawing from our sensei: a fanart of the girls from <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/galleries/other/yuki-2011gakuali-fanbook.png" target="_blank">Gakuen Alice</a> ^^ published in the fanbook released 2 months ago in September. Oh, and just because this is somewhat frustrating, I wanted to share this <a href="http://p.twipple.jp/FYA2P" target="_blank">picture</a> posted by Kaori Yuki sensei to her twitter album ;) (note the materials she uses).

Our mangaka is shyly trying some CG technique... As I received this weekend Iiki no Ki volume 2 (and 'Gothlolic' from Kokusyoku Sumire ^^), I share it as soon as now with: scans of the complete cover, the inside colour page and the atogaki. In 3 days a new chapter will be released in Japan, but I won't be able to talk about it before mid to end of August. I also jumped on the occasion to finally update the <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=covers">covers</a> page with Blood Hound kanzeban edition. Happy summer holidays!

(Yup, cause I too have a life!) I hope you still attentively follow my <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=y-news-en">Kaori Yuki news page</a> as well as my <a href="http://twitter.com/yukishrine" target="_blank" title="Twitter power!">tweets</a>, since I keep updating them quickly and regularly even though the homepage would look still, dead or something! Anyways, today I've uploaded for you the title page of the latest <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=iiki">Iiki no Ki</a> chapter, a couple of <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=gal-other#misc">sketches</a> and the picture appearing on the back of the <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/covers/jp/iiki-jp-vol02.jpg" target="_blank">volume 2</a> released 8 days ago. I'll upload the cover in HQ after I receive the book, around July 25. ^^ And then, off for a while to enjoy summer holidays! \o/

As you already know Kaori Yuki sensei released chapter 6 of Iiki no Ki in Japan, with a colour title page, and will sign the volume 1 at the end of March in Shinjuku to celebrate the Japanese release from tomorrow. In France, Tonkam is preparing a new diary on the author for mid-May, as well as the kanzenban edition of Blood Hound in July. :3 Find below all the covers! Kaori Yuki also posted the sketch of a sexy woman... Ultimate Aria and Meine Liebe II goodies

Today I propose new (old) things which have been waiting in the dust for a long time. ^^ First, I recreated the CD menu and content given in the magazine Aria #10, 2010. So, next to Kaori Yuki's goods, fans of the other main series (Pika Ichi, Magnolia, Junketsu + Kareshi) will feel spoiled ;) (me the first ^^) => <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=art-other#aria">HERE!</a> The second big update is the upload of Meine Liebe second bonus CD content. Remember... a CD with PC "accessories" was given with the first PS2 game in 2004 (I know, this is faaar away). A second CD was also edited as first press with the release of the second PS2 game in 2006. The CD content is now available <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=ml-dl#cddesk2">directly here</a>. =D Okay, this is not directly related to Kaori Yuki anymore, as Kiriko Yumeji is the one who worked on the chara design, but who cares? It's Meine Liebe!

I managed to get the <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/galleries/iiki/iiki-extra-aria2010-11.jpg" target="_blank">extra</a> offered with Aria 11. o/ It may look like a simple copy of a page of Iiki no Ki, but we can find there certain details we're not used to see often... ^^ Kaori Yuki recently drawed a musician's portrait and a fanart of the little Maria Ushiromiya (Umineko no naku koro ni) even more frigthening than the original character... Also, don't forget our favourite sensei's birthday is in 12 days. Maybe the occasion of sending her a letter? ^^

Moreover, I recently bought an old <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=doujinshi#thro">doujinshi</a> by Yuki Takahashi where Kaori Yuki did 2 pages about... video games (for a change ^^). New sales

I updated my <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=goodies#sale">sales</a>. I principally added some doujinshi and removed quite a few things I sold lately. <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=goodies#sale">GO!</a> I also removed the raws of Blood Hound ch.4 and Zero no Soukoushi ch.2 as there's no point for them to be anymore.

Thank you la Poste for your total lack of efficiency... >"< Anyway, I have new atogaki for you, <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=y-ato">see here</a>. ^^ The Blood Hound one has unfortunately no picture on it. However, the kanzenban edition is really pretty with many colour illustrations <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=bh#kanzen">see here</a>), also please click on the cover thumbnail, I scanned it in better quality than the previous pic. What else... I have some new pictures of Iiki no Ki; along with the Aria 10 cover, we have the chance to admire a gorgeous title page (a nigthmare to edit, I spent over 3h on it x_x), and there's a mini-gallery of the published mangakas in the DVD-furoku <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=iiki">(see here)</a>. :D And last, I updated the <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=gal-other#misc">blog gallery</a> with the latest pictures she posted.

Back-to-school time, colder nights, the cumbersome annual braderie de Lille coming soon... Aw holidays are that far already. I quickly checked the historical references in <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=iiki">Iiki no Ki</a> and the used backgrounds really existed in Tokyo... and disappeared with the great earthquake of 1923. Where are hidden all our artists? To all of you who were yearning for more new illustrations, hopefully you'll find here what you were seeking! Sensei's blog is full of material since 2 months and we can find many new pictures, including sketches from NKG, Camelot Garden and Iiki no Ki. <3 I also scanned a couple of Iiki no Ki pics, Count Cain (very old pics), and the first page of "Red Moon" (more later). I also updated the pages about <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=iiki">Iiki no Ki</a> and <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=y-who">Kaori Yuki</a> (Kodansha address and trivia with new pics of her). It's bliss to come back from holidays to find Japanese parcels patiently waiting for you at the post office. :D I received quite a lot of stuff, among which ARIA with the new series of Kaori Yuki and a collective doujinshi "Gem Silica" with a yaoi story by Kaori Yuki called "Red Moon". I haven't scanned much things yet, but I think you can expect more updates in the days to come. ^^ The thumbnails below are all pictures I didn't upload on the site yet. Aria 9 and Iiki no Ki

The illustration comes from "Pika Ichi" by Youko Maki and Aki Mochida. On the official site, a large picture presenting the <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/galleries/iiki/aria-lineup.jpg" target="_blank">lineup</a> is available, and guess what, it contains a new little picture by Kaori Yuki, all we needed to wait until the 28th. ^^ Or more in my case... I'll go on a trip tomorrow and will come back on the 12th August, and I won't be able to update the site in-between. To stay up to date regarding Iiki no Ki, I advise you to follow the <a href="http://community.livejournal.com/iiki_no_ki/" target="_blank">LJ community</a> opened upon this manga by Ellen Grieves, another big fan of Yuki sensei. ^^ And it's in English!

Blood Hound chapter 5

However, when we know that a kanzenban edition is scheduled on the 19th August 2010, it sounds less strange. This will be a complete edition, B6-sized (as bunkos). This short chapter counts only 18 pages. I've uploaded the raws on the site <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=scanlations#dl">here</a>, and <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=bh#sum">there</a> you'll find a summary (in French).

It happened once again this year, this time with a huge banner above the booth (so big that I didn't even notice it at first...). We could of course buy there every Yuki sensei mangas released in France excepted Neji. A couple of Japanese goodies were also available, such as the Ludwig Revolution key ring or the small postcard book from 1995, at really low prices (6 and 9 euros!). As promised, there's a Guignol bookmark inside the publisher's 2010 catalog. So now, two chapters remain unpublished, but no new book has been announced yet. I've also scanned the very last chapter of Guignol - chapter 18 - <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=guignol#ch18">gallery here</a>. Regarding the covers, I've updated the Thai covs for Blood Hound and Guignol Kyuutei Gakudan. <a href="http://www.editions-tonkam.com/img/couv/g/9782759503773.jpg" target="_blank"> <img src="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/covers/fr/guignol-fr-vol01m.jpg" height="90" align="right"></a> French publisher Tonkam released the cover of the French edition of NKG (...I really dislike the title they chose, I'd rather prefer US Viz' choice regarding any English version, as it is closer to the spirit of the series and the author's inspiration - anyways, for some reason Tonkam doesn't seem to like French ><). The retro style of the border is quite daring but I think it fits well the mood of the story. Moreover, the (gorgeous) portrait of Rutile is even more catchy as it takes the whole cover. =3 Second thing, Aerandria released NKG chapter 11 a few days ago. It's the last chapter but one of volume 3, among other things we learn more about Gwindel's past and motivations (you know, the tall guy with that cute hedgehog ^^).

There we discover what happened to Cordierite during childhood and the causes of her current state of madness. Sorry but I haven't scanned the key moments... ^^

Cain bunko: atogaki and epilogue

The author added an epilogue of 5 pages to her series. Of course I've scanned it, as well as the gorgeous <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=y-ato#cainbunko">atogakis</a> of volumes 5 and 6. I've also finally uploaded the Japanese covers of Yuki's oneshots (BND, Kaine, Neji, Gravel Kingdom, Cruel Fairytales) on their corresponding pages, and of an old <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=doujinshi#other">doujinshi</a> on AS from 1996.

I scanned the title page right after, but I won't have time to do more at the moment. Click on the thumbnail below to see the picture. BTW, am I the only one who didn't notice? The publisher (or the author) changed their mind during the publication regarding the counting of chapters. Since chapter 5 already (^^;), an "opus" is simply a chapter and not an episode of x chapters anymore. So I had to update my page on the series to change the way of counting the chapters/opuses...

...And happy new year 2010! I prepared some nice updates to start smootly the year. I added the <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=y-ato">atogaki</a> of Angel Sanctuary 11 to 17 (in French) and the one of <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/yuki/atogaki/2009-02_guignolv01_ato_fr.png" target="_blank">Guignol vol.1</a> that I translated myself. I also created a new page for the <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=guignol-sidetalk01">side talks</a> in Guignol (French only), and added those of <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=as-sidetalk04">AS 13 and 14.</a> Besides, <a href="http://aerandria.net" target="_blank">Aerandria</a> released chap.9 of Guignol, which ends the series Opus 4. I don't have Guignol volume 3 yet, as I'm waiting for the release of the new Cain bunko before ordering it. So, be patient for scans...

Quickly, I scanned the title page of the NKG chapter 14, subtitled "Quarter Shijuusou" in Japanese. This chapter tells us more about the 4 mysterious members of the Senat, and their old age despite their child look. Betsuhana got the good idea of copying Hana to Yume and show us small pictures of its favorite authors for the new year, and so our sensei drawed Ruchiru. :) It seems these drawings will be available as tosho cards. The site went down after a hardware failure yesterday around 17:00 (Paris time). The server is back to normal since midnight but more testing will be launched on next Monday evening, what will make the site unavailable for a few hours. Sorry!

<a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=doujinshi#sai">Saishuu Gensou</a>, the oldest (known) doujin from Kaori Yuki, is now available in French scanlation at <a href="http://www.divisionxiii.fr" target="_blank">Divisionxiii</a>. It will be soon available in English too, don't worry. It's an interesting early work because we can witness the roots of some of her later works. Big thanks to the fangirls who accepted to work on this project with me. <3 The other news is ofc the release of the newest chapter of NKG (Ma chérie pt 2) in the Betsuhana #9. Next one next month on the 26th! \o/

I finally received my Betsuhana this morning (so late...)! And so I scanned <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=guignol-gal#ch10">Guignol chapter 10</a> straight away. ^^ However, given the time it takes, I'll scan less pages from now on. French publisher Tonkam unveiled Gravel Kingdom's cover, out on August 19.

Big update today! I've added the <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=y-ato#as">postfaces</a> of the first 10 volumes of AS (French) and I've created a new page to provide all the <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=as-sidetalk01">side talks</a> from AS (French). I've also opened a <a href="http://www.angelicvoice.fr/?id=y-biblio-chap1">bibliography by chapter</a> of the author, where I show her related colour works. Lastly, there are new fanarts by Lestat and Po-chan. Thanky. ^^

"Ongaku Higeki", chapter 7 of Guignol, is out in Japan. And chapter 8 will be out next month. ^^ <a href="http://aerandria.net/projects/ningyou-kyuutei-gakudan/" target="_blank">Aerandria</a> also released the chapter 4, which ends Opus 2 and the first volume of the manga in the same time. I plan on uploading some scans of ch.7 next week. ^^
